We've entered our Kenya era, and not mad about it. Raise your mugs to our newest Roaster's Reserve single origin, Kenya Gaturiri, a beautiful, velvety cup that is begging to be added to your at-home coffee set-up. We're tasting tropical fruit punch complemented by sweet chocolate ganache and a hint of toffee. Explosive with fragrance and a dynamic sweetness, Kenya Gaturiri is sure to be a staff pick and maybe your favorite coffee of the year. Cheers!

This coffee is another high scorer for DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF — very proud that Coffee Review gave this one a 93. Here's their assessment from a blind cupping:

Richly sweet-savory. Red currant, hop flowers, lychee, toffee, cedar in aroma and cup. Gently bright, balanced acidity; crisp, satiny mouthfeel. Finish leads with notes of toffee and lychee, supported by cedar. A recognizably Kenyan cup with its distinct currant notes — gets ballast from deep, sweet toffee and complicated by bittersweet hop flowers.

This coffee is produced by smallholding members of the Barichu Cooperative Society, from trees of the SL28, SL34, K7 and Ruiru 11 varieties of Arabica, and processed by the traditional washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying).
